Bedrock

A synthesizer built for one job: kick drums. Your kick's pitch is a borehole drilled through rock - depth equals frequency, shaft width is decay - and you sculpt the sound by shaping the drill core. Four layers, three macros, a full mix chain. The output is mix-ready, not sample-ready.

No iLok. No launcher app. No subscription. Buy once, it's yours - VST3 and AU for macOS and Windows.

Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen for any app it hasn't seen before, including ours. It's safe - clear it in two clicks:

  1. Click More info on the blue screen.
  2. Click Run anyway, then follow the installer.

What it does

Four strata.
One kick.

Click, Body, Sub and Foundation are voiced together, so you shape one without breaking the others. Impact, Weight and Length macros move the whole kick at once; drive, EQ, compression, soft clip, limiter and mono live in the Foundation - no corrective chain afterwards. Presets run from Classic 808 to Techno Warehouse to Sub Cannon.

Click + Body

The transient and the punch - tone, pitch sweep and FM shape the snap and the 100-250 Hz character.

Sub + Foundation

The anchor and the output chain - sub depth via the borehole, then drive, EQ, comp, clip, limit and mono.

The Section

Grab the Start, Bow, Landing and Tail handles on the cross-section and shape the kick like a drill core, with a live low-end meter on the depth ruler.
