Four effects at the four corners of a pad — drag to morph between them. Not a crossfade: each effect's parameters interpolate, so the in-between positions are sounds of their own. Automation-friendly, MIDI-mappable, performance-ready.
Most effect plugins ask you to manage many parameters. Crucible asks you to manage one position. The corners are full intensity, the center is silence, and everything between is interpolated into its own sound — then mapped to a controller and played live.
Pick four from the library — drive, delay, reverb, phaser, chorus, filter, comp, crush. Each corner is one effect at full intensity.
The pad position interpolates the parameters of all four effects. The in-between is its own sound, not a blend of four.
Map XY to a controller — MPE pad, ribbon, joystick — and play the morph as a performance gesture.
